18th Annual Port of New York-New Jersey: Port Industry Day
MONDAY, September 24, 2018

INFO: Registration is now open for the which will be held at Liberty House in Liberty State Park, Jersey City, NJ.  Over 500 top executives representing every segment of the maritime and transportation industry attend each year.

Port Industry Day starts at 8:00 A.M. with a continental breakfast in the exhibit area.  The business conference will focus on “A Global, National and Regional Shipping Overview“and will begin at 9:00 A.M.  Additional details on the program will be announced shortly.  The morning dialogue will be followed by a networking lunch in the exhibit area.  And, at 2:30 P.M., there will be a tour of port facilities aboard the Sandy Hook Pilot Boat #1-New York.  Space is limited and will only be reserved for the first 100 people who register for the conference and tour.

We invite you to be a part of Port Industry Day as a sponsor, exhibitor or an attendee.  Levels of participation are outlined in the attached registration form.  As an added opportunity for you and your company to reach members of this important audience, we will also publish a program journal which will include advertising.

INFO: The objective of the Forum is to enhance New York’s profile as a place of business to the global maritime industry and especially to global shipping firms and industry participants who do not reside in New York. In parallel to the main sessions, where shipping company CEOs from all over the world will be discussing their sectors’ developments and outlook addressing mainly an investor audience, there will be a series of breakout sessions focusing on specific topics such as bank finance, equity and fixed income capital raising, restructuring and bankruptcy, maritime finance and law, securities law, tax issues, arbitration and mediation, New York as operational center for shipping companies, as well the role of the Port of New York and New Jersey as a logistics hub for shipping and cargoes.
